Moved from Archie's Xanga (Wednesday, September 20, 2006 KCC Visit)
After 7 or 8 years, I revisited KCC again. The last time I went there is when I was form 4 or form 5, I believe. (I'm not sure though). This time, I only went with Paul (aka Patrick). No Alice, no Bob, no Jack, no Jennifer... too bad.![]()
We were able to meet and chat with Leung Sir, Ms Cheung and Ng Sir. (I haven't seen Ng Sir for 12 years already)![]()
After chatting with the teachers, I and Paul tried to locate our old classroom Form 1D. But to our surprise, it is now for primary 4!
(For those of you who don't understand the HK system, primary 4 is the 4th grade) .
After 5 minutes, a janitor asked us to leave the upper floors because those are considered international school territory. International school territory!? What is this international territory? and when did this start? Anyway, something to be glad about is that this room is still a classroom with students from different parts of the world, like my 1D...... I hope.
So, we left the upper floors and went downstairs. On our way, we revisited this:
A place we hardly went by ourselves--- the library!
I think I used to only go there when our English teacher, Ng Sir, asks the whole class to read English books in there.
I really miss having a school canteen. I miss the vending machines, the meal tickets, the tables, the signs...
After we had our snack, we went on and walked pass Leung sir's office 12 years ago. We used to go in there to borrow basketball from him or simply bash about how we defeated our elder schoolmates in basketball. Fun times!
And then, we tried to locate our music classroom...... but I think they changed it to something else after we left KCC. See picture:
Changing Room (Girls) ![]()
Finally, we decided to leave KCC, by foot, down to the streets in North Point. On our way, we revisited this exit.
This is the exit we use if we were to have our PE lessons in the bigger soccer field. This place is creepy at night and I can still remember that there used to be a couple of dogs roaming around there after 6 pm.
This is the soccer field we sometimes have our PE lessons at. That basketball court is also a place we often hang out after school or during the weekends.
We tried to relocate the route down the hill, which was more exciting but dangerous. But I think they were blocked already sometime within the past 12 years. I wonder whether anybody had an accident there. Since we couldn't try the route again, we were only able to guess where the entrance should have been:
And if we weren't wrong, here is the exit of the dangerous route:
Ok, that's all folks! It took me a while to finish this entry. ![]()
